The Best Paddleboarding Cornwall Locations

Cornwall Paddleboarding Spots

Paddleboarding in Cornwall like many seaside resorts in the UK has become very popular. But did you know paddleboarding is not a new thing? According to the history books, paddleboarding goes back to the 18th century in Hawaii, when the Hawaiians would paddle from one island to another.

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Stand Up Paddle Boarding has become one of the fastest-growing water ports in the world. It has no restriction on age, and anywhere they is water, you can go paddleboarding. It is one of the most relaxing sports out there. You can either sit down on a board or stand up, whatever you are comfortable with.

How hard is paddle boarding?

One of the most frequent questions I am asked is, how hard is paddle boarding? Paddle boarding or paddleboarding as it is known is one of those sports that anyone can take up. It may seem difficult at first, but to be honest it is very easy. It is only difficult when you have a bit of wind behind you, and you are paddleboarding in poor conditions such as on a fast-flowing river or with waves.

Sitting down on a paddle board makes it much easier, so those who are a bit nervous about stand-up paddleboarding should try that first. No matter what your fitness level is, paddleboarding is a great sport.

It is a great Cornwall paddleboard spot for beginners and experienced paddleboarders. There is a free car park which is always a bonus. I would advise taking your own refreshments, as it is a bit of a walk to the local village shop.
