Skegness Seal Sanctuary Is A Great Day Out For Children
When it was suggested to me to do a review of Skegness seal sanctuary, I was not sure what to expect. But I must admit, I was very surprised but in a good way. Skegness Natureland Seal Sanctuary is not just Seals at a Seal Sanctuary, it is more than that.
The Skegness seal sanctuary does a lot of wonderful work in helping local seals. When people visit the seal sanctuary, Skegness, Lincolnshire, they are helping the team to look after injured seals and rehabilitee orphaned seals that become stranded on the Lincolnshire beaches. When the seals are better, the Natureland Seal Sanctuary team release the seals back onto the beaches. In April 2018 Natureland rescued their 800th seal.

Skegness Seal Sanctuary Review
Although it’s called Skegness Natureland Seal Sanctuary, it’s more than a seal sanctuary. There are lots of animals to see which includes penguins, alpacas, fish, goats, and meerkats to name a few.
One thing I loved on my visit was the feeding times. Please make a point to find out what times the animals are fed on your visit. Watching the seals being fed was not just educational, it was also funny, and watching the penguins being fed just melted my heart. If I could have any job in the world, then I think it would be feeding animals all day at a zoo or a seal sanctuary.

During my Skegness Seal Sanctuary Review I felt like a kid again. I really do love visiting zoos and places where I get the chance to see animals. One of the first things I do when I book a UK staycation is to find out if there is a zoo nearby. So, visiting the Skegness Natureland Seal Sanctuary, I was in my element.
I did get the chance to feed the animals, which I loved. By visiting Pets Corner, you will see rabbits, goats, and guinea-pigs. You can buy food which is very affordable and feed some of the animals. The children will love it, and adults can become children again. It was really so much fun feeding them, even if some of the goats tried stealing the food from me when I was not looking.
The floral palace was a magical experience. It was like something out of the movies. Butterflies fly around you, and sometimes they land on you. You really must experience it to believe it.
There is also an aquarium which is near pet’s corner and a tropical house.
I really loved my Skegness Natureland Seal Sanctuary Review. I took my wife and my daughter, and we had a whole day of fun. I must admit though, I think I had the most fun.
If you are looking for things to do in Skegness, then I would highly recommend the Skegness Natureland Seal Sanctuary. It was an affordable day out.
