Norfolk is a wonderful place to visit, and for me and millions of others it’s one of the most scenic places to visit in the UK. With 90 miles of coastline and lots of seaside towns including Hunstanton, Old Hunstanton, Cromer, Great Yarmouth, Holkham, Wells-next-the-sea, Sheringham, and Mundesley, Norfolk offers so much.
There are lots of holiday parks in Norfolk including holiday parks in Great Yarmouth, caravan parks in Cromer, Hunstanton caravan parks, caravan parks in Hemsby, and Heacham holiday parks. With so many Norfolk Caravan Parks to choose from, you are spoilt for choice.
Not everyone has the same budget when it comes to having a holiday in Norfolk. And that is what I love about caravan parks in Norfolk and around the UK. A caravan holiday in Norfolk or anywhere else allows you to have a great holiday for a lot less.
I Have seen some holiday parks in Norfolk charge just £200 for a seven-day holiday which is a great price. But not everyone has £200 to spend and that is why I have a travel hack for you. You can cut the cost of Norfolk caravan holiday by going with family and friends. By splitting the cost, staying on a holiday park in Norfolk will become a lot cheaper.
There are more than 20 holiday parks in Norfolk including Seashore holiday park, Hopton Holiday Village, and Wyndham Holiday Park which is a caravan park in Cromer.
Most of the popular Norfolk holiday park are based around the busier resorts in Norfolk that includes Great Yarmouth (my favourite), Hunstanton, and Cromer. If you have not visited Cromer then you must, it is an amazing place to visit with a lovely pier.
Norfolk holiday parks have everything you need for a great time. With so many different caravan parks Norfolk has to offer, it can be hard trying to choose the right one to suit all your needs. I have visited all the caravan parks in Norfolk and have put together a list of what I believe to best the best Norfolk caravan holiday parks on offer.
The Best Norfolk Caravan Parks
Haven seashore holiday park
Out of all the caravan parks Norfolk has to offer, this Norfolk caravan park is my favourite. It has a large swimming pool, beachside location, dog friendly, and just four minutes from Great Yarmouth Pier (Britannia Pier).
If you are looking for caravan holiday Norfolk best caravan park will not let you down. It is a Haven caravan park, and if you know the reputation of Haven then you know they invest heavily in their parks.
This Norfolk caravan park has always been popular, but in 2019 when they spent £6.5m on upgrading the holiday park, it became even more amazing. As part of the investment, they introduced The Shore Waterpark which the kids will love. It has everything you would expect from a waterpark including flumes and slides and a splash zone.
For someone who loves the beach, one thing that makes this the best caravan park in Norfolk is, it is right next to the sandy beach. They even have caravans overlooking the beach. What is not to like. Like a lot of Norfolk caravan sites, this holiday park is dog friendly. And, with it being right next to the beach, it provides a great dog walking experience.
There are so many great things to do here that will keep the whole family entertained. They include archery, crazy golf, a climbing wall, swimming pool, and so much more. In the evening you have great entertainment and lots of places to eat, including a Burger King, a Papa Johns, and the Coast House.
With Seashore being just four minutes away from the centre of Great Yarmouth, it means you don’t have far to go for things to do.
If you are looking for a caravan park in Norfolk, then this would be my choice, and that is why it has made it to the top of my best Norfolk Caravan Holiday Parks.

Haven Hopton Holiday Village
When it comes to caravan holidays Norfolk main caravan parks are run by Parkdean and Haven. The Hopton Holiday Village which has come second my best holiday park in Norfolk, is another family holiday park owned by Haven.
The popular Norfolk caravan site has caravans for all budgets. Here is a tip. If you want to reduce the cost of the holiday and are not interested in going to the entertainment in the evening, or swimming, then you can book a holiday without passes.
As you would expect from a Haven caravan park, Hopton Holiday Village has lots of great facilities and activities on offer. It is right next to the beach, which makes this Norfolk caravan site popular with beach lovers. You don’t always have to spend lots of money when going on holiday. If the sun is out, then you can spend all day on the beach. And, with the caravan site next to the beach, you don’t even have to worry about jumping in the car and driving.
Hopton is located between Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft.
Wild Duck Holiday Park
When I was looking at all the caravan holidays Norfolk has available, and choosing the best Norfolk holiday parks, I struggled between Wild Duck Holiday Park and Hopton Village for second place. I will tell you why I struggled.
I have visited Wild Duck Holiday Park many times. I enjoy caravan holidays in Norfolk, and I have stayed at this popular Norfolk caravan park for a seven-day holiday, a three-day holiday, and even a four-day holiday. There is something about it that drags me back.
If I was writing a list of the best Norfolk Caravan Holiday Parks just for myself, then this caravan park would have come second. But I must think about other people, you the reader. Wild Duck is not as big as the other Great Yarmouth Haven holiday parks, but it is special. The facilities are smaller, but it is more relaxing. It is set within a woodland, which is wonderful.
There is only one downside I can think of about this popular Norfolk holiday park, and that is it is not next to a beach. But hey, you can’t have everything.
Wild Duck is an attractive park and compared to other holiday parks in Norfolk it is quiet. There is not as much going on the park as there is on Seashore or on Hopton, but for me that is very attractive. On the plus side, it is close to many great attractions.
There is an indoor swimming pool here, and there is also an outdoor pool. I must admit, on my first visit here, I found it hard to find. There is also an amusement arcade, you can also hire bikes, and there is also minigolf available. There is plenty going on to keep the children entertained, and great evening entertainment for the whole family.
I would highly recommend this Norfolk caravan holiday park for those who want a more relaxing break.

Caister on Sea Holiday Park
With so many great park holidays Norfolk is the ideal location for a family getaway. Another great holiday park in Norfolk that goes out of their way to make sure all holidaymakers have a great time is Caister on Sea Holiday Park.
This is another Norfolk caravan site owned by Haven. It’s not surprising to be honest that four of their parks have come top in my Best Norfolk Caravan Holiday Parks list. At the moment Haven are leading the way in family holidays. And remember, you don’t always have to book direct if you want a holiday on a Haven Norfolk caravan park. You can also book directly with owners of caravans who advertise on Facebook. Sometimes it can be a lot cheaper.
The popular Norfolk caravan site is another holiday park that is on a beachside location. When I stayed here with my wife and daughter, we were lucky that our caravan was located right next to the access to the beach.
Caister on Sea Holiday Park is about 15 minutes away from Great Yarmouth, and around 45-minutes from Cromer. I have said this before, but you really do need to go and visit Cromer. It is a wonderful place and there are caravan parks in Cromer if you fancy staying there.
There is lots to do on Caister on Sea Holiday Park to keep the whole family entertained. You have everything from a large indoor swimming pool, bike hire, kayaking, crazy golf, a climbing wall, and so much more.
It has become a favourite Norfolk holiday park. If a busy holiday park is not for you then I would suggest Wild Duck Holiday Park, as this one is one of the busiest holiday parks Norfolk has to offer.

Thorpe Forest Lodges
Out of all the park holidays Norfolk has to offer, Thorpe Forest Lodges Thetford is one of the more expensive. If you are looking for a holiday park in Norfolk and are willing to push the boat out on price, then I would suggest you give this one a try.
When it comes to holiday parks in Norfolk, Thorpe Forest Lodges is posher than most, and as mentioned more expensive than most. It will appeal to those holidaymakers who like to have something a little bit different and to have a holiday in woodland.
There offer lots of activities which include cycling, nature trails, forest walks, archery. It is a great place for parents to relax while the children go and do their thing.
It is not located near a beach so you will have to jump in your car if you want to spend the day relaxing on the beach.
As you would expect from a more expensive Norfolk holiday park, the accommodation is out of this world. You really do feel like you have spoilt yourself when you stay here.
Dogs are allowed in some accommodation, but you need to check online which accommodation is available for pets when looking to book.
Searles Leisure Resort Hunstanton
This Hunstanton holiday park deserves its place as one of the best caravan parks Norfolk has to offer.
Searles Leisure Resort Hunstanton is a popular holiday park which has been around for a very long time. It is a large park that has lots to offer for the whole family.
They have a nice indoor pool and outdoor swimming pools, as well as an adventure playground for kids and a soft play area. There is also tennis and crazy gold available, and places to grab some lovely food.
One thing that makes this Hunstanton holiday park stand out is its next to the beach. It is a perfect location and has easy access to local attractions.
Dogs are welcome in some of the accommodation. If you are looking for a value for money holiday in Norfolk, then I would highly recommend this Hunstanton holiday park.
Tydd St Giles Golf and Country Club Wisbech
When it comes to holiday parks Norfolk has to offer, this is another one which is not the cheapest, but it is one of the best. It is more affordable than you would expect from a stunning holiday park.
Tydd St Giles Golf and Country Club Wisbech is on the Norfolk/Cambridgeshire border. One of the main attractions of this holiday park is the 18-hole golf course. As well as a golf course there is also a gym, swimming pool, and fishing is available.
If you are looking for a holiday park in Norfolk for a family holiday, then I must be honest and say that this holiday park is more for adults.
It is a great place for a holiday if you want to have some adult time or a romantic getaway.
California Cliffs near Caister on Sea
There are lots of static caravan sites in Norfolk, this one is owned by Parkdean who are known for offering traditional budget holidays.
California Cliffs don’t have as much available as the popular Haven Norfolk holiday parks, but that is reflected in the price.
Don’t get me wrong, you won’t get bored here. They have lots going on which includes the swimming pools, sports court, adventure playground, and crazy golf. Like most of the static caravan sites in Norfolk, there is also evening entertainment available. A lot of the time the entertainment is done by the in-house entertainment team, but they also have professional visiting acts.
Dogs are allowed in some of the accommodation, so if you have a dog and want to bring it on holiday, then check the site for the available caravans.
A tip for you. Parkdean have a few static caravan sites in Norfolk, and a lot of the caravans are owned by people who rent out. So, if you don’t like the prices Parkdean are offering, then check on Facebook to see if any owners are renting out.
Norfolk Broads Country Park near Norwich
There are lots of amazing static caravan sites in Norfolk, some of them are big name brands while others are independent. Not everyone wants the same thing in a holiday park, and not everyone wants a busy holiday park, and that is why I have chosen this popular Norfolk caravan park as one of the best.
Norfolk Broads Country Park is a lovely and affordable caravan park. To be honest, you would find it hard to try and find one that is more affordable.
It is only a short distance from Norwich which is great, and you can easily get to Great Yarmouth or Cromer.
For me, it is a nice and relaxing park. It is one of those holiday parks that you can go to and simply just relax and enjoy each other’s company.
Heacham Beach Hunstanton
This is another Hunstanton holiday park that has made it on our list as one of the best caravan parks Norfolk has to offer.
It is another Norfolk Parkdean site that offers low-cost holidays for the family. As previously mentioned about the other Parkdean site in Norfolk, it does not have as much on offer as the popular Haven holiday parks, but it is more affordable.
Parkdean have recently been investing in their holiday parks so it would be nice if Heacham Beach Hunstanton is next on their list.
If you are looking for a low-cost family holiday park, then Heacham Beach Hunstanton is a good choice.
